We are looking for a QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience. You will work closely with developers, product designers, and the leadership team to develop the best user experience within our platform. As part of a hyper-growth startup, you will help grow membership to 1,000,000 over the next five years through the product.
This role will be remote and you will work closely with the engineering team in Eastern Europe and Asia, and be available for immediate support for the team in the US. Proficient in English is essential, and speaking Russian is always a plus!
Experience in manual testing of web applications;
Experience in writing automated tests;
Experience in testing REST API;
Experience in any task manager (we use Jira);
Experience with Linux, CI, Git;
Understanding the software life cycle, understanding the work of web applications;
Good communication skills - you are a proactive communicator
Proactivity, independence, willingness to experiment - you have a growth mindset
As a plus:
Basic knowledge of SQL;
Basic knowledge of Ruby and Rails (Rspec, Capybara/SitePrism);
Basic knowledge of html / css / js;
Conduct manual testing of current products
Cover the project with autotests
Preparing test data
Engage in the creation of test cases, acceptance criteria and support for project test documentation
Participate in team development processes and providing assessments of the complexity of tasks
Registering defects in Jira, checking for fixed defects
Close collaboration with developers and PM before and after every release
